PVP Rules
Player versus player (combat) will follow the below procedure.
Remember, all IC actions have consequences, so make sure you are certain about what paths you take your characters down.
Account Rules
Unfortunately, due to the way security works for our forum hosts, there is no way to link multiple accounts to the same email address for seamless switching between characters.
Likewise, you are also unable to register the same email address to multiple accounts separately.
HOWEVER
There is a workaround for this to ensure that you should never need to use more than two email addresses to ever create a new character account. Simply notify a moderator that you have registered a new account and they will change the email attached to the account to your desired "main" email.
- Be respectful, we're all here to have a good time. If you have a beef with someone that transcends your characters, either talk it out or raise your issue with a staff member/moderator.
- Abusive behavior towards the site staff is not tolerated. Constructive criticism is more than welcome, but keep yourselves under control.
- Absolutely no metagaming. If you are looking for an individual (especially another player's character) you cannot randomly happen upon them. You must put in the work to find that character through legitimate means; we find that this adds a gritty realism, more fun and helps to give your character a greater and more realistic challenge. In turn, this also goes for characters being pursued, unless you manage to find a legitimate way to know you are being tracked down, you cannot make a miraculous exit from the last location you were in once you have been found.
- Following up on point two, you cannot jet-set all across the globe from place to place. Traveling will take time and must be done only through the means available to you. For example, if you do not have access to a private jet and you want to get from Brooklyn, NY to Las Vegas, NV then you must either drive the distance or take public transportation in the form of trains or commercial flights.
- Godmodding is not allowed. These character are gritty individuals. They are in a dangerous line of work. Sometimes, they die.
- While we appreciate that it is not always possible, we ask that in this ever increasingly polarized climate, politics are kept to a minimum, especially in an OOC context.
- No pictures, links, or other references to hardcore pornographic material may be used on this site. This rule is not limited to only pornography, but also applies to any other material that the staff may find obscene or inappropriate.
- Members are asked to respect the bandwidth of other sites. It is encouraged that you open an account at or another hosting site to host your images from. This is also a good way for you to keep your images organized.
- When posting on the site, you are asked to use proper English. We do not post like you do on AIM on this site; we post in complete, grammatically correct sentences.
- All images posted (avatars, thread images and otherwise) must be hosted off site. Maximum avatar dimensions are 200 x 400. Maximum signature dimensions are 600 x 200.
PVP Rules
Player versus player (combat) will follow the below procedure.
- You must, through IC means only, obtain the location (last known) of the character that yours intends to attempt to threaten, assault or murder.
- Once you have done so, you must make a post featuring your attempt, whatever it may be, on that character.
- The player will then be notified and given 48 hours to respond to your actions and defend themselves to the best of their ability. In some cases, extensions may be granted upon request.
- Once a response has been written and registered, a moderator will review the post and, if necessary, further posts may be required from both characters involved.
- Following the conclusion of the event the moderator will determine what the outcome ought to be and post their judgment at the end of the action.
