Brooklyn Named after the Dutch village of Breukelen, it shares a land border with Queens, on the western end of Long Island. Brooklyn has several bridge and tunnel connections to Manhattan across the East River and another to connect it with Staten Island. Moderator: Staff	0	0
Manhattan Manhattan is divided into three informally bounded components, Lower, Midtown, and Upper Manhattan and surrounded by the Hudson, East, and Harlem rivers.
